This September 13 the TrustDale team will join hundreds of others at the Atlanta ALS walk. Held at the Georgia World Congress Center International Plaza, the walk covers 2.5 miles. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m. and covers 2.5 miles.
Also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Currently there is no cure and the average life span of a person diagnosed with ALS is two-to-five years. The annual Walk to Defeat ALS brings people together to raise money for a cure and bring awareness to the disease.
Please consider joining our team or donating. Our goal is to raise $1,750 – we’d love to exceed that!
